On 17 March 2026, the first of this year’s three BEST – Fire Safety Expert Seminars & Training sessions took place at the Highlight Towers in Munich. Under the theme ‘Reducing fire risks. Avoiding business interruptions.’, the event brought together numerous experts from industry and the insurance sector to discuss current challenges and innovative approaches to preventive fire safety. The exclusive event was aimed in particular at risk engineers, insurers, plant operators and technical decision-makers responsible for the safe operation of industrial facilities. The focus was on practical specialist presentations and concrete application examples, which provided valuable insights into managing fire risks in sensitive areas.
Participants gained in-depth insights into modern, equipment-integrated fire protection solutions as well as strategies for avoiding business interruptions. In addition to the technical input, including a presentation by a club operator who spoke on fire protection, the seminar also provided ample opportunity for personal exchange and in-depth discussions with industry experts.
Following successful events in cities such as Stuttgart, Ahrensburg and Cologne, BEST 2026 in Munich seamlessly continued the established series of events and once again confirmed the format’s high relevance to the industry.
