With the opening of Terminal 3 at Frankfurt Airport in late April 2026, one of Europe’s largest infrastructure projects is setting new standards—not only architecturally, but also in the field of Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH). Approximately 57 airlines are gradually moving into the new terminal, which was designed from the ground up as a “DOOH-native” environment. At its heart is a fully integrated digital advertising network with approximately 230 advertising units covering a total area of about 2,500 square meters. The digital screens accompany travelers from check-in through retail and gate areas all the way to baggage claim. This makes Terminal 3 one of the most modern airport DOOH networks in Germany.
Together with strong partners such as LG Electronics and M-Cube, the JOB Group ensures that these state-of-the-art digital systems can be operated not only efficiently but also safely. This is because as digitalization increases, so do the requirements for preventive fire protection. The JOB Group protects many of the installed systems with its VdS-certified E-Bulb technology for early fire detection.
