This is intended to protect your data from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, unauthorised disclosure, alteration or destruction.
You are primarily responsible for the secure transmission of your data to us. Electronic forms on our online offerings are already secured by us technically and organisationally with the help of the latest encryption technologies. However, if you send us your data directly by email, please note that emails are generally not encrypted. If in doubt, use the postal service or fax if you want to largely exclude the transmission risk.

In the course of our processing of personal data, it may happen that the data is transferred to other bodies, companies, legally independent organisational units or persons, or disclosed to them. The recipients of this data may include, for example, service providers commissioned with IT tasks or providers of services and content that are integrated into one of our online offerings. In such cases, we comply with the legal requirements and, in particular, conclude appropriate contracts and agreements with the recipients of your data to ensure the protection of your data.
4. Information about your rights
4.1. Information, rectification, restriction of processing, deletion or disclosure of data
The data we process will be deleted in accordance with legal requirements as soon as the consents permitting its processing are revoked or other permissions or the processing purposes cease to apply. If the data is not deleted because it is required for other, legally permissible purposes, its processing will be restricted to these remaining purposes. In such cases, the data will be blocked, the group of users who have access to this data will be restricted, and the data will not be processed for purposes other than the remaining ones. This applies, for example, to data that must be retained for commercial or tax law reasons or whose storage is necessary for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person.
If you believe that we are processing incorrect or untrue data about you, or that we need to delete data about you or restrict its processing, please let us know using the contact information provided in section 1.2.
You have the right to obtain information about all data we have stored about you at any time. You also have the right to data portability with regard to the data you have provided to us.
4.2. Right to lodge a complaint
We have appointed a data protection officer in accordance with legal requirements. This officer is specialised in data protection and data security law and is independent, which means that he is not bound by our instructions. If you have any questions regarding data protection issues that affect our business relationship, please contact our data protection officer. He will investigate the matter and send you a response, initially an interim message if necessary. However, if your enquiry concerns a business matter, please contact us directly using the contact information provided in section 1.2. This is because the data protection officer can only provide you with answers to your data protection issues, as he is only responsible for monitoring our compliance with data protection regulations. The data protection officer is bound to secrecy towards third parties and also towards us, unless you release him from this obligation.
In addition, you can complain to a supervisory authority if you believe that we are not processing your data in accordance with data protection regulations.
4.3. Right to object and objection to advertising
Please note that if you contact us in any other way, we may process your data (not the connection data collected from you) for direct marketing purposes without your consent. In return, the law gives you the right to object. You can object to the use of your data for direct marketing purposes by us at any time with future effect. Please notify us of your objection using the contact information provided in the imprint. Upon receipt of your objection, we will add your data to an advertising exclusion database. Alternatively, at your request, we can also delete your data, provided that there are no legal retention periods. However, we cannot then rule out renewed direct marketing.
Even if it does not concern direct marketing, you can object to the processing of your data if you wish to assert special reasons arising from your particular situation. In this case, please contact us using the contact options specified in section 1.2.
4.4. No automated decision-making
We would like to point out that when using our services and utilising our products/services, you will not be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing – including profiling – that has legal effects on you or significantly affects you in a similar manner.
