AMFE protects switch cabinets of Bode GmbH in Schleswig-Holstein
Bode GmbH from Schleswig Holstein is a globally active company in the development and production of sealing systems in building technology and civil engineering. This makes Bode GmbH an essential manufacturer for the safe sealing of systems for drinking water supply, wastewater disposal and gas supply.
One of the AMFE-protected systems at Bode GmbH
The particular challenge in terms of fire protection in this case is the high ambient temperature caused by production facilities, manufacturing processes and the waste heat from the control systems. The control cabinets are located far away from each other. In addition, the switch cabinets for the air conditioning system are located on a gallery in the production plant, which makes it difficult to reach them in the event of a fire. This makes integrated fire protection more important. For this reason, 5 R-AMFEs with pressure gauges were installed in the control cabinets of the air conditioning system and the cooling control system for early fire detection and extinguishing to prevent interruptions to operations and ensure delivery capability.
Thanks to its different triggering temperatures, the AMFE can also be used reliably in warmer environments, such as those found at Bode GmbH. It offers effective protection against fires and the resulting damage. The AMFE is versatile and adaptable, making it an ideal solution for fire protection in different environments. Its use helps to minimize the risk of fires and ensure the safety and protection of property.

In late 2023, intelligent mini fire extinguishers were installed in nine electrical systems in cooperation with Wichmann to suppress incipient fires directly at their source.
Integrated fire protection for Digital Center News-Club
AMFE protects information system in several ECE Centers. With the new Digital Center News-Club (DCNC) ECE Marketplace GmbH & Co. KG has developed a new type of center information system. The special feature is that only center-specific and shopping-relevant content can be found here. Daily program items are optimally timed to generate an increased urge to act among visitors.
Germany's largest DOOH format at Hamburg Central Station is setting new standards
With “The Whale,” Ströer has set a new milestone for digital outdoor advertising at Hamburg Central Station. The LED installation, produced by Daktronics, spans an impressive 38 meters in width and 9 meters in height—a total of 342 square meters of high-resolution, full-motion, and 3D-capable LED technology. To ensure the long-term, safe, and trouble-free operation of this extraordinary screen, nearly 400 AMFEN units from JOB were installed.
Household appliance manufacturer Liebherr relies on mini fire extinguishers
The Swiss company Liebherr is one of the leading manufacturers of construction machinery and household appliances. Find out more about how the R-AMFE miniature fire extinguishing unit ensures that the risk of operational interruptions caused by electrical fires is reduced.
Invisible Fire Protection for Visible Innovation at Frankfurt's Terminal 3
Terminal 3 at Frankfurt Airport features 230 digital advertising screens spread across 2,500 m². The JOB Group secured this DOOH infrastructure with the E-Bulb—a VdS-certified fire protection system integrated directly into LG displays. The project thus combines digital innovation with maximum safety without compromising the design.
Secured water supply for the citizens of the Weißenthurm community
It is a major responsibility for technical operations management, ensuring that all pump stations, electrical systems and controls are fail-safe and operationally reliable. Preventative fire protection plays a special role.
Preventive fire protection in the equipment room with a lithium-ion battery system
In a utility room, R-AMFE fire suppression technology and controlled power shutdown protect control cabinets, emergency power systems, and batteries from fires. This prevents fire spread and back ignition, and avoids thermal stress on the battery. As a result, systems remain safe, downtime is minimized, and emergency power functions remain controllable.
As a local energy service provider, Duisburger Liefer- und Verkehrsgesellschaft mbH (DVV) plays a crucial role in providing an efficient infrastructure in the city of Duisburg. It is important to ensure trouble-free operation every day.
Integrated fire protection protects European XFEL accelerators
The European XFEL is a superlative research facility. In order to protect the accelerator that enables this sensitive research process, JOB AMFE systems are now also being used.
Integrated fire protection for digital media technology
Fire protection in displays and steles is a complex issue that requires a variety of criteria and requirements to be taken into account. With its “Lena” FP Pro (Fire Protection Profiline) stele, Werkstation GmbH has developed an innovative stele that meets all requirements. AMFE systems from JOB GmbH are used as extinguishing and smoke detection units.
TK Elevator is one of the world's largest manufacturers of elevator systems. In order to ensure the safety of the products and to keep the failure rate as low as possible, TK Elevator tests important components during development, including under various extreme climatic conditions.
Berlin-based start-up relies on AMFE for protection
The Berlin-based start-up Rechargy uses an innovative business model that involves renting out power banks and setting up “Power Banks To Go” stations. The Rechargy stations are located in public areas and are therefore subject to strict fire safety and security requirements. Thanks to AMFE, the charging and power electronics areas are reliably protected.
Automatic miniature fire extinguishing unit in service column
To improve the networking of various transport companies at the Vorburgplatz mobility hub, the municipality of Trittau is relying on an information service column with integrated fire protection in order to be informed as early as possible in the event of a technical defect and to extinguish a fire immediately.
WKK KALTBRUNN AG relies on AMFE for greater safety in production
AMFE protects employees, production facilities, and continuous delivery capability. For over 50 years, WKK Kaltbrunn AG has successfully held its own in the highly competitive market of stamping technology. The company processes around 2,500 tons of steel annually and stands for precision, innovation, and quality “Made in Switzerland.”
Fire protection is of crucial importance - especially in sensitive areas such as escape and rescue routes, where the requirements are particularly high. In hospitals in particular, where the protection of patients and staff is a top priority, every possible risk must be minimised. Hospitals are therefore increasingly focussing on innovative safety measures.
The digital notice board developed by gekartel AG is a modern medium for real-time communication in apartment buildings and replaces traditional bulletin boards. Previous installation obstacles due to fire safety regulations in listed buildings have been eliminated thanks to integrated fire protection, meaning that the notice board can now also be used in sensitive areas.
